By consuming alcohol while suffering from a panic episode you are increasing the likelihood of depression and the onset of regular panic attacks. I know that alcohol causes dehydration and dehydration causes anxiety.
Drinking just increases stress on your body and makes it harder to deal with stress. Alcohol is just not good in any way.
I feel like alcohol makes it easier to bottle up emotions that need to come out.

I used to have a lot of trouble sleeping. It would turn out to be like three in the morning and I’d be wide awake staring at the ceiling. It would be at this point that I would go downstairs and crack open a bottle of wine. I always thought that this would help but it never seem too. I’m working on getting rid of anxiety right now and it’s pretty challenging. Do you have any recommendations as far as a good diet? I have read that certain foods are important to incorporate into your diet…are there any foods I should include in my diet to help stop anxiety?
